Web Design

Web design has always been something I've enjoyed, and I feel that working with web documents is critical for the digital age we found ourselves immersed in. Below are some of my best examples of sites that I managed and designed.

WRA202 ePortfolio
As a final project for WRA202, we were given the task of organizing and presenting an entire semester's worth of work in an e-portfolio. I was especially pleased with the way mine came out, because it was my first time experiementing with an unconventional navigation scheme, and I allowed myself free reign on the creativity aspects while still designing a simple and user-friendly website.

MSU Kiddie Lit Club
This site was created when I had very little experience with web design and coding. It is representative, however, of designing for a particular audience, and developing a project completely from scratch.

Ghost Ranch Writing Festival
As a smaller project, I built this site as a component to the Ghost Ranch website. It details information about the 2007 Writing Festival, including their schedule of classes and a listing of all instructors.

Project Proposal for Central Harmony
In 2006 I was involved with creating a CMS-based website for an a capella group at Central Michigan University. Unfortunately, that site is no longer live, but this is the proposal that details what the Central Harmony site's goals and purposes were.
